At The Sunshine Gang, volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From supporting veterans and nursing home residents to helping neighbors in need and local animals, every act of kindness makes a difference. When you volunteer with us, you’re not just giving your time — you’re spreading joy, comfort, and hope throughout our community.

Ways You Can Help

Support Veterans

Write letters for “Mail Call,” raise money for Honor Flights, or provide supplies for veterans at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.

Bring Joy to Nursing Homes

Help create and deliver handmade gifts during our holiday visits and spend time visiting with residents to brighten their day.

Assist the Homeless

Help prepare and distribute food, clothing, and essential items for neighbors in need through our partnership with Jordan’s Crossing.

Grow for Our Heroes

Volunteer at the Grove City M.A.S.H. Veterans Honor Garden by planting, harvesting, or distributing fresh produce to veterans and first responders.

Support Local Animal Shelters

Collect or deliver items such as blankets, towels, and toys that provide comfort for animals waiting for their forever homes.

Join one of our weekly Sunshine Group meetings to make friends, share ideas, and spread a little hope — every Tuesday from 9–11 a.m. at Grovewood Place, 4301 Stoner Drive, Grove City.
