What a great week for our Sunshine Gang! Monday we went to Chillicothe VA and took almost 200 gifts! On Tuesday, to Jordan’s Crossing to give a car load of Depends and lots of clean towels, on Wednesday, we went to 5 nursing homes and the Mayor was gracious to accompany us. We dropped 100 off Wednesday night to my fellow Rotary buddy, who along with our Grove City Rotary, went to Columbus Health Nursing Home. All totaled, we passed out close to 500 gifts to the area nursing homes and 200 to the VA! So proud of these and others who have worked since September to get gifts for those who needed a smile and a chance to know people care! We start in January to hand write 900 letters for every veteran going on this next year’s Honor Flight! I will be posting in January if YOU would like to make a difference and join us.
